On behalf of the Maryland Office of the Correctional Ombudsman, we are pleased to invite you to attend Maryland Ombuds Day 2026: Oversight in Action — An OCO Town Hall & Community Conversation, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 301 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21218.
This special event will bring together Ombuds professionals, government leaders, legislators, community advocates, service organizations, stakeholders, and members of the community for an informative and engaging conversation about the important role Ombuds offices play throughout Maryland.
The Town Hall will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about the services and resources available through Maryland's Ombuds offices, hear directly from Ombuds professionals about the communities they serve, and engage in meaningful dialogue surrounding fairness, humanity, dignity, transparency, accountability, and public trust.
